ACADEMIC SUPPORT and TECHNOLOGY

Technology, or lack there of, at RCHS is a key focus this year of the nonprofit. Our focus is enhancing student and teacher engagement. RCHS has always learned to do a lot with a little but we are falling behind peer schools in teaching by not having current technology. A donation at this level can help bring in new software and hardware that is desperately needed.

ACCESS FOR EVERY STUDENT

A donation at this level can provide 2 scholarships for students to attend our mini-mester program. Mini-mester provides for college visits, student engagement in experiential educational programs, and an opportunity for students to learn outside the school environment.

RCHS Students GIVING BACK

Our students are focused on giving back to the community in so many ways. Your donation can provide for transportation and materials for students to engage in meaningful community service. Team efforts in supporting local food pantries, environmental stewardship, feeding families in need, and supporting programs for youth with disabilities are just some of the things our scholars do.

    We believe you have to understand all the factors that influence a student's ability to learn. Through our Family Emergency Fund, Dorm Life, and Mindfulness Center we recognize that students' needs are greater than just showing up to school and doing their work. Providing supports in a crisis and tools to self-regulate and adapt to life's stressors are crucial to success.

    College Readiness

    Proving the technology, hands on learning tools, and updated equipment at RCHS helps prepare students for college. Teacher mini-grants for classroom supplies and trips, paid after school tutors, academic clubs, and electives supports are just a few of the ways your funds can help.

  • Pushing the Boundaries

    The students at RCHS have always done more and worked harder to achieve their dreams. Friends of RCHS works with individuals students to support community service projects and fund student driven initiatives at the school.

    A donation of $25.00 can help pay for furnishings and supplies for the center

  • STudent Test Prep

    $35.00 covers the cost of student test prep and study guides so they can be competitive on AP tests and the SATS

  • Mini-mesters

    Provide a student scholarship to attend mini-mester- $350

  • Technology and Classroom Grants

    With limited funding for instructional purposes, having funds for tech and classroom projects and academic support is crucial to best prepare our students on their path to college.
